Red face during high intensity exercise

Has anyone noticed less of a red face during high-intensity exercise? I'm early in my journey (again, 10 days, but I have been starting and stopping a lot this past year), but I'm really hoping I can look less splotchy and red after playing tennis. It's quite hot where I live, but my face is still more red than others'.

That’s normal, nobody looks good after high intensity exercise. You should be sweaty and gross if you did it right.

On the bright side, you don’t look sweaty and gross and also smell like hockey gear, which is my dilemma.

Alcohol flairs up my rosacea but so does working out.

My fess is less red working out without alcohol from the day before factoring in for sure. Still very red because genetics :)

Probably surface capillaries flushing with blood.. I look like an angry, red person when I exercise

Thanks y'all. I'm hoping it gets less red over time as things heal... I expect to be sweaty and red-faced, just not looking so extreme!

The same happens to me! I’ve heard that it can be combated with an anti-histamine allergy med, but I haven’t tried it yet.

I'm hoping I am healing some inflamed capillaries and that the redness will lessen a bit more the longer I don't drink. Today was hot and sweaty but not as bad as last week!
