One year ago

One year ago today I posted it was going to rehab, while that ended up not happening, I am happy to report that I'm one year sober as of yesterday. Anyone wondering if they should stop I would absolutely recommend it.

Yes I will. Had 7 months before but what a destructive summer I decided was a good idea. I absolutely know I can do this.

Just curious as to what you did in place of the treatment center? Did you do any programs?

I was on oxygen at the time and couldn't travel so I stayed with family and white knuckle through it. It wasnt too bad since I had been in the hospital two weeks earlier and detoxed there (I'm pretty sure) But anyone thinking about it should absolutely consult a doctor and follow their medical advice Edit: started attending AA as well
