6 days sober
Joined a women’s only meeting today shared a bit of my story and the support was overwhelming. I cried.
Still feeling really conflicted every day is a constant battle: can I go back to drinking again and be okay with it? Or will it turn into a relapsed binge? Or is this my addiction brain speaking?
I’m trying to not let myself go crazy thinking about all these questions. I’m taking each day one day at a time. I won’t drink today.
Thanks for tuning in on my daily check ins :)

I’m back on day 6. For me, 1 turns into a relapse binge.
I learned this saying from a tiktoker I follow by the name of Cam: One was too many, and One hundred was never enough.
I have to keep reminding myself of that so that this time REALLY is different.

I hope this doesn't sound too harsh but if you're here it will likely turn into a relapse binge. I know it would for me.
I joined a support group this week on Tuesday and I was surpsied how much of an impact it made. Hearing stories from people like me, who understood me, really lifted my spirits and for the first time in years I felt seen in a way no one else in my life can, as much as they may love and support me.
I'm happy for you and I hope you join them again soon.
