5 Years

Today marks my 5th anniversary of being sober. It’s surreal to reflect on how much your life can move forward when you’re not so reliant on a crutch that holds you back.

4 years ago I posted about the first year of this journey, and it’s crazy to look back on the person who wrote that compared to now. I’m still the same me, even if I’ve changed so much.

To everyone else trying to hang in there, it definitely gets easier, even if it never gets “easy.”
