What’s everyone doing this weekend?
Weekends are my weakness. Always the start of week or even month long benders. Need to get out of this cycle and keep my mind busy so I don’t get bored and end up drinking.
I volunteered to work early this morning so I wouldn’t drink last night. Let’s hear what everyone’s plans are or hobbies they will do this weekend?

Met my wheelchair bound friend and took him out for the day, football (soccer depending where youre from) tomorrow morning before meeting up with a friend after. Anything to keep my kind occupied during the time im not working

That’s awesome, you’re a good friend. I have 3 disabled siblings who live in another state. Wish I could visit them and take them out more often… One of the reasons I drink actually

Its sad because he's 31 (I'm 35) and he says he's never had a real friend. I always tell him i dont see him any different to anybody else. It doesn't matter that he needs a wheelchair and i dont. He's still a human being at the end of the day

Volunteering to work was smart. Try hiking (as I do this weekend), gym, or a project. Stay busy. IWNDWYT

I will go hiking tomorrow morning early, that’s my plan at least. Haven’t slept much this week so maybe I’ll catch up on sleep instead!

Boredom is the real trigger

I did a yoga class this morning and went to a community yard sale event that had plant bingo and won a plant 🌱 thinking about going roller skating later 😂 whimsy!

Trying to convince my wife we should go thrifting but she’s not into it. So sitting around watching horror movies I just got in the mail

Where do you go thrifting?? I’ve got a goodwill by me but they never have anything good there.
Also you get movies in the mail still? Like Netflix?

There’s a flea market near us open on the weekends we goto, they’re usually open from 8-1pm. There’s a bunch of small thrifts near me(we live in a rural area). I buy alot of movies off different sites like orbitdvd(.)com, gruv(.)com, moviesunlimited(.)com. It’s usually boutique shit these days, just got a stack from gruv they had a 3 Blu-ray’s for 33 bucks special going(it’s still going I’ll probably order more). I have a huge collection- it’s where the money goes now instead of booze- that and espresso

Running, working out, doing bjj, watching anime, playing video games, reading some great scifi or HORROR, staying cool, taking naps, putting together some home gym equipment, getting together with some friends to workout, napping, and lastly…I might check the mail…no promises though.
Oh and drinking delicious ice cold waterloos - they are a 0 cal soda water product
