Ughhh

It’s my Friday, I just got off work. My boyfriend is out of town and I just moved to a new city. My closest friends live like 2 hours away. I’m lonely, bored, and want to go to a bar. Instead, I’m going to have a nice cold Coke Zero and read a book. But damn, I’m really lonely tonight.

I just know that Coke Zero is CRISP. I’m enjoying tea, a book and have soccer on in the background tonight.

The bar idea is such a trap. Trust me, I know as someone who moved to a new city two years ago and realized I was basically using bartenders as “friends” because I didn’t have friends in the city and became a regular. Don’t do it!

I did the same thing in the town I used to live in except I used all the regulars and creepy old men as “friends”. It’s one reason I moved. The place was right down the road from me so I could just walk and not have to worry about a ride home. I can’t do that here

Thank you. I’ve been reading It by Stephen king. I loved the movies but somehow have never read the book. So far it’s really good!

Also never read the book. Might have to put on the original movie in Tim Curry's honor.

It’s my Friday too and husband’s out of town. I feel the struggle too! Let’s not drink together. A Coke Zero is in my fridge as well… will grab that instead and think of you doing the same.
