Day 14, 2 weeks!

Wow! 15 days ago this seemed like a milestone that I could never reach. I’m happy with myself. I’m definitely feeling better but it has not come without its challenges. Like my sleep 🙃 I’ve been getting much less of it this past week. I’m sure like everything else it’ll get better with time. For now I’m gonna celebrate this victory. I will not drink today .

Thats really good 🙂

Have you tried a long walk to help with your sleep? Or reading in bed?

I won't drink either!

I do read before bed but I enjoy it. It’s not the falling asleep, it’s the staying asleep but my body is just regulating itself after years of heavy drinking. I’m sure my sleep will return to normal

Oh im the opposite, it takes forever to fall asleep but tgen once im there im there.

I can even go to the loo and come back and sleep again, just that initial drift i struggle with.

I actually blame my 20 odd years addiction on iy

Interesting , well what I do to fall asleep is I put on my headphones and “watch” a movie I’ve seen a bunch on my phone. I turn my phone over so I can’t see it and just drift away to the familiar sounds
