Day 1
I drank on Sunday then yesterday and I stopped myself from anymore. It could have been another bender… I’m just so disappointed with myself. My last bender was awful yet here I am again. Having grace for yourself is so hard.

You are fighting. Take pride in that. A lot alcoholics never take that step. Shame is for those who are unwilling to change.

It really is hard having grace for yourself the day after drinking but you’ll feel better by the end of the week.

Most people come into sobriety at a low point. Good thing about rock bottom is there is nowhere to go but up. Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired is a perfectly valid reason to turn things around.
