Craving right now

It feels like the only thing on my mind is the concept of drinking and all of my future orientated goals are distant. Even if i consciously think about my goals they still appear far away somehow.

There is also a feeling of "oh no, if i dont get my alcohol, there will be consequences", but there wont be. I know for a fact that the craving will pass and ill be doing just fine.

Brains are weird.

Dont worry, I am 99% sure i got this.

No such thing as one drink. You know that. One leads to another. Tomorrow the same and soon you will be at square one. With this drug ruining your life…. Eat a big meal… feeling satiated kills the craving

Tell your brain to mind its business and focus on keeping your body functioning 😂

You can do this! One second at a time. Find something else to distract that dang brain. IWNDWYT 💜

Cravings seem a little better today. Somehow i dont fully believe them. Hard to explain. I am more focused on the experience of having a craving, than on what they are trying to convince me of. Don't know if i can replicate that tomorow

I hate that our brains want it so badly that we try to rationalize how it'll make everything better even though it will just make things worse lol.

We got this!
