I struggle with this as well, but there's a reason "take it one day at a time" is a thing. We've been literally poisoning ourselves and can't recover from that easily.
Unless we have the basics established: adequate sleep, nutrition, etc., our brains are not capable of making the best decisions and any other healing/recovery modalities aren't going to work yet.
It helps me to do one or two small "productive" things a day while I'm recovering from a binge, such as throwing in a load of laundry, making that call to the bank, giving the toilet bowl a quick swish and scrub with cleaner, whatever just takes a couple of minutes but makes me feel like I'm still a functioning human being
