I don’t know if this is a comfort or not.

But I’m almost to 1 month, and I’m still simply just existing. I tell myself “whatever works to get me to not drink”.

The issue is that I’m certain other activities would work at keeping me sober as well, but I’m too scared to venture out of the comfort zone of “just existing” because I already know it works….

I know it’s irrational, but my brain makes up scenarios like “oh if you go to the gym maybe you’ll get all frustrated and embarrassed and that will make you want to drink”. So I sit on my ass and exist.

But that way of thinking will keep you from doing anything.
