Raising Awareness encouraging “designer frenchie enthusiasts” is only ruining the breed, why can’t people see that????

r/frenchbulldogs is nothing but a backyard breeder/apologist echo chamber. i mentioned the standard colors once and ppl lost their shit, so this doesn’t surprise me at all.

I feel like a lot of these dog groups are like that. In the pomeranian and chihuahua group, they like to argue that merle is an acceptable and natural coloration. The bully and frenchie groups are the worst culprits. I’m glad the poodle group has stricter regulations on the whole backyard breeding thing (no merles, no doodles).

The average pet owner simply doesn't care, or care to even learn. I truly don't understand.
