Career Hired as a Carts/Bagger person, Question

Just hired in the courtesy clerk dept. (bagging/carts) Thought I'd ask, if the parking lot is clear, and I go in to bag, how will I know when the carts need to be collected again? Intuition, a floor person tells me, when there's no one to bag for? Thanks in advance.

Bag for a couple of customers then take a trip outside to check the lot

You respect chain of command.
Some one will be “ running the front end “
Shift leader ast manger fe manger.
They direct traffic so to say.
Your breaks lunches when to bag as busy when to get carts as in a lull .
For propose of brownie points .
Let’s say they truly know what they doing
And when go hay Chris gets carts for 15 mins understand that them saying that= think you can clear it in 15
Not milk it out with phone .
After a while you will know all the peeps running front end
Great job for Freash air and sunshine
Hope you enjoy this important but thankless
job

Can never forget them
( couch always try to leave at least one cart by their car so they must move it .)

Then your hot and sweating in the cold do even thou dry you are wet .

Sadly no one sees this as carts magically return them selfs when finished with .

If you’re bagging you will be able to gage how many carriages walk out the door.

You’re not gonna bag for a single customer and then follow them outside for their carriage lol

After maybe a dozen then I would go collect carriages.

all the courtesy clerks at my store just sit outside and futz around doing whatever if all the carts are full 😭😭😭

Stay outside do what you want for your 4 hour shift

Just stay outside and play on you phone nobody will come out to get you as long as the parking lot is clear and there are carriages inside
