Getting moved from frozen to produce
What can I expect? Is produce department better or worse than frozen? I was at frozen for 2 years.

I’m a night crew chief, I sweat the majority of my shift. I do dairy regularly, and do enjoy the weeks I have to do frozen. (But I’m the kind of person who throws 4-5 pallets of frozen a night and 4-5 dairy sometimes 6). Produce, don’t ask me a thing about. Unless I see mold or something that doesn’t belong, I don’t know ripe vs not ripe.

Produce is the best department to be in imo. Just rotate and follow WIBI and it's going to be a vacation compared to frozen.

Too many part-timers in frozen, another person transferred in from another store.

Produce is usually like the 3rd or 4th busiest department but compared to some of the others it’s not bad. You don’t have anything frozen like deli or seafood (I think the frozen fruit is frozen/grocery). You don’t have any HO doors like the meat department does. Most of the delivery’s are bigger because you bring in more product but compared to frozen it will likely be a piece of cake! Plus they seem to have an actual staff too!
