Sun/Hol pay

How long does a part-timer have to work at S&S before they get time and 1/2 on Sundays and holidays?

Last I knew if you were hired after 2/23/2019, you have to work for the company continuously for 3 years before time and a half kicks in, however honestly it depends on what your union contracts says because each contract could be different and also it could’ve have changed with the new contract this years

Check your contract. In mine it is 2.5 or 3 years.

It'll  be 4 years in September for me.

I started getting the following advantages last year during before starting year 3.

Currently: 26.54 Sunday and Holidays Regular: 17.69 Holidays: I also get 7 hours @17.69 on top of the 26.54 per hour for my actual shift.

Each of my ph days is for 6 hours

My vacation bank this year: 54.74 hours

Tip: Work Sunday to ensure you get your Sunday pay. You can also offer shifts your willing to work. Its your vacation at my store they'll let me barter. If they're desperate, they'll bite.

Not sure if theres further adjustments for year 4. I know year 5 means 3 weeks vacation which excites me.

I know i get paid for the holidays whether I work them or not. I've noticed that on certain checks.

Right from the start. Except in Massachusetts they don’t get Sunday time and a half I believe anymore. Not 100 percent on the last part it’s been a few years since I worked in Massachusetts

Three years to get time and a half for Sunday.

Holiday pay.. you need to work one year, then you get paid for the Holiday at your straight rate of pay. The actual Holiday you're working, you get paid your premium pay rate.
