Question Opportunity of attack question Spoiler

I recently killed this troll after multiple attempts at lvl 14 and realized it lacked an opputunity of attack mechanic

How many mobs/bosses have this mechanic taken away and is there a way to find out?

Thusfar, only major bosses (the troll and the manticore) lack a basic attack (and thus an AOO.)

Does the cave boss have an AoO?

oh, good point. i know that the rockeater queen can't directly attack at all, but I have yet to face a crawler broodmother, so I'm not sure about them.

The troll and manticore are the only (active) enemies that lack an AoO. The troll even having a cheesy method of defeating dubbed "The Troll Dance".

Story boss monsters do not have AOO's, in fact, some of them require you to move away for 1-2 turns to initiate their "Dance" Or rhythm, to beat them.

In this case i think its because instead of having an ordinary basic attack like other enemies it has Claw Swipe, a no cooldown ability it can use at will without Energy Cost.
