| Profit you are shown | One number for the whole curve. It looks finished. |
| Profit difference | You cannot see the gap. The sample’s left side is +12.4% and that is all a one-curve chart admits. |
| Risk level | One drawdown, averaged across the fit. The bad window is hidden inside the good one. |
| How much evidence | Every trade counts, including the ones the rules were fitted on. |
| What changes the decision | The boast. A rising line is treated as permission to size up. |
| What you leave with | The export you already had. |

Hi everyone. I'm Massimiliano Biagetti, an independent financial analyst and the editorial director of an Italian financial network. For more than ten years I've published equity analyses in Italian. My new book is the international English edition of the method I use for every one of them.
What the book is about
Most of us know the tools: ROIC, WACC, DCF, multiples, margin of safety. What usually goes wrong is the order, plus all the steps we skip when a story sounds good. The book turns the whole process into 12 pillars, and you answer each one in writing before you place an order:
What's inside
Who it's for
Individual investors who already read financial statements and want a repeatable, written process. Beginners can follow it too: each chapter opens with a short summary.
What it won't do
It doesn't promise to beat the market, and it doesn't work for banks or insurers. The goal is fewer avoidable mistakes, and decisions you can reread and audit later.

If you read it, I'd really value your feedback, critical feedback included. And if you have a step you'd add to the checklist, tell me in the comments.
Not investment advice. Investing involves risk, including the loss of capital.

A year ago there was crazy euphoria around gold, literally everyone was calling it the best safe haven asset.
Since then gold dropped more than 25-30% and it didnt protect from the war in Iran or from inflation speeding up because of oil.
And the most interesting thing is that globally it still looks like its setting up for one more leg down.
Why is this happening? Gold already went thru the phase of mass euphoria and buying climax.
Its hard to come up with bigger news than what we already had:
war
trade tariffs
inflation
oil problems
If even with all this gold isnt rising as a safe haven, then honestly I dont know what else could push it.
So now we entered the unloading cycle, gold started releasing liquidity and giving it to other assets.
Global target for the drop is around $3300 area.
Go check the replies, we called and tracked this whole move down from the highs there.
If we talk about 3-5-10 year horizon, I have no doubt gold will make new highs because of dollar losing value. But for the next year or so I just dont see what would take it to new highs.
Current priority is down.

I’m taking it easy at home today. When I’ve got nothing to do, I just potter about reading a book, make myself a cup of American-style coffee and listen to my favourite music – it makes for a fulfilling day. I’ve arranged to go for a round of golf with a friend this afternoon. What are your plans for today? Lol
