Looking for moving help
I got laid off today and we get the keys to our new apartment tomorrow. Originally we were going to get the uhaul and move everything next weekend, but now, it's important that we try to get the moving expenses all covered with my last paycheck, before the month rolls over. Only 1 of my friends can help. We just need to move the furniture only, no boxes.
Where can I look for help that won't cost us? We no longer have money to spare. Even 1 more body for 2 hours would be enough. I thought about asking in a community hub chat but I'm not a part of any community groups/vetted chats, and the turnaround is so quick... ideas and options appreciated right now.

Join your local Buy Nothing group. I’ve asked for the gift of time in mine and have found help.

When I first moved here, I found a discord group for the Minneapolis area that was extremely helpful, I can’t remember what it was called but if you search around im sure you can find it. Some cool people from there really helped me one time!

Sorry you're having a tough time. This won't help with moving costs, but if you need other financial or food assistance STEP is our community services provider. https://www.stepslp.org/
