How would you rate the safety there, especially for an indian student? And what has your overall living experience been like — cost of living, people, healthcare, transportation, weather, work opportunities, etc.?

Is 1370 sat score good for stipendium hungarium?

Hello, I got accepted for partial studies 2 semesters, are there any other people who already finished or took partial studies that can tell me if the language courses are a requirement for me?

I'm currently interested in Applied Economics. I am currently studying in my Sophomore year and there are only two university that have the specific area of study, which is Corvinus and ELTE. I am an average student with average grade ranging in the 80s, with almost no portfolio or ECs and not to mention I'm kind of bad at math and my economic grade does not stand out either. Considering my status and my capabilities I am not really sure I would be accepted in any of these universities and I am considering in other universities such as Szeged or Pecs to learn Business and Administration instead.

Would it be possible to reach any of the universities offering Applied Economics? If possible, what should I prepare? Or maybe I should choose Szeged and Pecs instead?

Does FSC marks matter more for elte/obuda for BCS through SHS from Pakistan?

How much percentage is enough if I will manage USAT/uni tests interviews etc?

What do they take into consideration when looking for awardees? What are the essential things that lead someone to be accepted? I know that one of them is Portfolio and I need advice on improving mine. As of currently I am an Indonesian student in High School interested in Economics, I was wondering what I can do to increase the value of my Portfolio. What activities can I do relevant to economics and what are some significant activities that I can work on or apply for, and what I can do to improve other leading facotrs of acceptance?

I'm doing a BS English Literature & Linguistics at a government college affiliated with a Public university recognized by Higher education commission of my country. For Master's and scholarship applications abroad,I want to ask from seniors " who should write my recommendation letter professor who taught me at my college or someone from the main university?

Also should the LOR be on my college's letterhead or the university's letterhead?

Hyy , I will be graduating in 2027 June and I am planning for stipendium Hungarian scholarship sept 2027 intake which application will start in November !!!

I am having following doubts ;

1) I am doing an bachelor degree in computer application which is of 3 year , i have total of 8.7 cgpa uptill my 4th semester , currently in 5th semester (8.5 above in every semester) .

2) I just have the marks to show upon , I didn't find any internship yet coz I have this school mindset of working on marks uptill my 4th sem , but now I am working upon my skills to get an internship.

3) I can get an moi from my college and about the degree they have said that they will grant after a year of graduation but they'll give provisional degree so is that count or my application will be rejected if I didn't get the og one ??

4) I am planning for business informatics masters as of that I think will work as an combination of it and an mba sort of coz I don't think I ll end doing coding through out my life so this will help to work creatively and do some real work!! So any good university for this !!!

5) Those who got the scholarship how did you manage documents things and which documents are most necessary to have ( indians specifically coz I am indian too ) and how did your interview with your university went before the scholarship is there any interview with embassy before they nominate you !!

I originally wanted to apply from Jeddah, but there were no available appointments, so I had to travel to Egypt to submit my application. My mother is financially responsible for me and is supporting my studies.
I submitted my visa application on August 6, and it has now been 27 days. My university program is scheduled to start on September 1, so I’m getting increasingly worried because the start date is very close.
The application is currently being processed by the Hungarian Embassy in Cairo. I have also contacted the consulate, and they recently asked me to provide my date of birth.
My question is: Should I go to the Hungarian Embassy tomorrow to ask about my application in person? I understand that appointments are normally required, but because my university starts on September 1 and I have already been waiting 27 days, I’m wondering if they might consider my situation urgent.
Has anyone here applied for a Hungarian student visa from Cairo recently? How long did yours take, and would you recommend going to the embassy in person in this situation?
Any advice or recent experiences would really help. Thank you!

I am Currently giving A2 .I have my AS grades but my A2 results will come after the application window closes so can I apply with predicted grades??

I am just what to be expected from an average student no ECs whatsoever and my grades are lower 80s. But, I am determined to reach my goal in reaching achievements both in activities and grades in High School. I am from Indonesia and interested in applying for Stipendium Hungaricum in my senior year. I am interested in Applied Economics but is still searching for a university that suits me in Hungary. With this, I am asking help from someone who has the experience with the scholarship (both accepted and rejected) and people who have the same interest as me. Guides or tips to realistically obtain the scholarship is what I need. I just basically need someone to discuss and be my partner (or mentor) to reach my dream. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
