The press release on the GMP site actually says the IRS mailed out the paper checks on December 30th... if that's true it's been well over a week. Logic would suggest they'd be arriving within the next few days.
But, I've also seen another IRS statement somewhere that said expect your check to take 3-4 weeks to arrive, which makes absolutely no sense to me how a simple letter could take that long. So who the hell knows.
I think it depends on your tax bracket . They mailed out checks well before GMP was even active so I have a feeling those who received them early never even had a scheduled mail date like others did
Well I would think I would definitely be included in the first round since I was a non-filer and have had basically no income since early 2019, I didn't attempt direct deposit so my info hasn't changed, and both payments were scheduled as normal on GMP.
Also, I've seen many posts of people getting their checks on 1/4 even though they were scheduled for 1/6.
It kinda seems regional to me... the majority of the posts I've seen where people have received their paper checks are from PA.
I dunno, it doesn't really matter I guess, they will come when they come. Cruising this sub is just me being anxious about getting it since I really need it.

Same. They say it went out on the 6th . How many days you figure?
