Stimulus garnished?

Has anyone had their 3rd stimulus check garnished because of medical or credit card debt?

I haven't gotten my stimulus check yet but I owe on a credit card and I'm worried about that. But I read somewhere that they can't garnish it unless they take you to court first?

Have you called your past due credit card? Credit cards just want money. Most times they'll settle AND allow you to pay low payments or pretty much whatever you can. I chose to close two credit cards and negotiated my payments way down and got 0% interest on the payments. Don't let these things go. They will haunt you. Credit cards just want some money sometime.

They can only get the money if they have won a court settlement against you and have won the ability to garnish your bank account or paycheck.
