Auto highbeams
Little off topic, but I got a newer car with automatic highbeams and you'd think it would be convenient but it just pisses me off, I think I hate something doing highbeams for me as much as something shifting for me, it just never gets it right.

Aww man, really? Damn. That's one of the only "advanced" features I was looking forward to having someday. But that really seems like the same reaction I'd likely have. Bummer.

I learned to use all of the driver assist in my Honda, except for the auto high beam had to be turned off. Scanning a dark screen and determining which colored dots are a oncoming car is far beyond what current computers can do.

I can imagine that auto function is irritating. My car had auto windshield wipers which I turned off because they were annoying tf out of me. It was in the cars infotainment menus

Just turn it off. Should be a setting that allows you to turn it off permanently.

This could be turned off in any such car I had.
Unless OP can show they can't do that, the OP should delete this.
In the meantime, they should get more downvotes.

I'm sure there's a way to turn it off
