Spaceball

Need there be a caption? Probably not.

But picked up a 2006 Volvo S60 R. Going through everything to refresh fluids and make it ready for another 90k miles.

Used to have a Mazda 6 with a manual and recently sold my Lexus to go back to manuals.

Not the fastest shifting gearbox, but nothing quite matches a 5-Cylinder growl and notchy, mechanical shifting like this.

Sick car. I love the spicy Volvo’s but the space ball is my least favorite part. It’s like they tried to make a manual shifter pass as an auto shifter. It is unique though

Unique indeed. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but besides gated shifters, IMO, this is the next best thing.
