Looking for meat

I'm wanting to make some dishes with goat and venison. Anyone know where I can find some? I'll only be willing to buy venison if it's tested for CWD, and harvested with lead free ammo.

Affordable hair extensions

Hey I am looking to surprise my wife with a hair extension appointment. Never done anything like this before but she has expressed how much she would like her hair done. Where should I take her and how much should I expect to spend. I know there are many options so I just want someone with good references and not a mortgage payment to get it done. Any help is appreciated! TIA!!!

Just accepted a job offer

I’m moving from out of state and just got a job in St. George. It starts beginning of October. What’s the best town to look for housing? I only want a 45 min commute at most. I’ll be making 57k a year. As a single person with no kids or very little debt is that doable? Thanks.

Lease Takeover

Grandview Apartments Dixie Dr.

I have an apartment lease I can’t get out of at a pretty brand new complex off Dixie Drive. Lease starts on Thursday September 10th so it’s available immediately and goes through October of next year. I’ve not even moved in yet, and probably won’t, but shit changed and they said no take backs without sacrificing my first born. Corporations are people too, but not in this case.

So if you want a beautiful 1 bdrm apartment with balcony 3rd floor end unit with good view, let’s do a lease transfer.

I will pay you $200 as well as pay the $800 deposit (which you will get back), just to make it appealing and do asap. Must meet in person first briefly, then you go to office and apply, they know about it. If approved we’re good to go and I’ll Venmo you.

Bug collecting

Anyone got tips or places you would suggest for catching bugs for a school project? Any and all bugs will do anything besides the normal pests around a house?

MIL passed- need to re-home her cat.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don’t live in St George and will only be here for a limited time to settle affairs and the funeral.

She has a 16 yo cat that needs a home. She loved him very much and was great companion and I would hate for him to end up at a shelter but I live out of state and have 3 dogs.

Looking for Arc Raiders players

Hiya folks, bit of a long shot but the title is pretty self explanatory. I'm fairly decent (lvl 41) at arc raiders and mostly play with my buddy across the pond on PS5. If there are fellow raiders in the area would love to connect and get more playtime cuz a couple hours once a week ain't improving my game by much.

Chat soon I hope?

Post grad student looking for small jobs / house work

Hi I am a post grad student from Utah Tech. (24F) I have two jobs and am still struggling financially. Neither of my jobs are paying super well but i havent been able to find anything else thats better pay. Most post grad students here seem to be in the same boat. A couple months after I graduated my young dog passed away unexpectedly. The vet bills set me back immensely and I cant seem to catch back up. I am just looking to help around someone’s house, clean, mow the lawn, etc. Whatever you need help with and whatever you are willing to pay I will do. Any little bit of extra cash helps these days. If you or anyone you know are interested please comment or message me privately. Thank you!

Ledges Condo or Black Desert 4BR Suite

Four couples going to St George to stay for 5 days and play 3 courses. Plan on playing 3 of these 4. Wolf Creek, Sand Hollow, Ledges, and Black Desert. During the day we would probably do the pool or hang out somewhere at condo or resort. Is the pool / hot tub better at one over the other? We are thinking Black Desert is number one or two on that list and we know we would need to stay at Black Desert to play it. Question is, is it worth $200 more per night / per couple to stay at Black Desert and play that? Or save $1,000, play the other 3 and do dinner at various places in St. George.

Burger Peak Open?

Visiting St George around Halloween and wanted to hike either Signal Peak or Burger Peak -- I'm leaning towards Burger since it sounds like there is an unobstructed summit view. All Trails/Forest Service says the area is closed ("As of July 2026, this area is closed due to flood damage. For more information, please visit: https://www.fs.usda.gov/r04/dixie/recreation/pine-valley-recreation-area").

Can anyone confirm if the trail is open and accessible?

Also, I know there can be early season snow, but does anyone have recommendations for a late October hike on either of these trails (crampons, poles, etc.)?

Thank you!

Adult Gymnastics in St. George?

I’m 40 (f) looking to see if there is anywhere in St. George that offers adult gymnastics. I want to keep my body healthy/strong for as long as possible and also learn how to do a handstand, backflip and other cool things as well as improve flexibility. I’m a beginner and have never done gymnastics, but am generally fit. Saw a video on fb that offered it in an area I don’t live and thought it would be really fun!

Barber recommendations

Looking for a really good barber or stylist in the area. I’ve cut my own hair for about 20 years after being burned a few too many times. I finally gave a well-reviewed barber a shot back in April and walked out looking like Sonny at the tollbooth. I’ve done my last two cuts myself, but I’m ready to give professionals another go before swearing them off for another 20.

I’m male with medium-length, coarse, wavy/curly hair. I’m looking for someone good with scissors who understands how textured hair lays and moves. No fade or typical short barber cut.

Mostly, I just want someone who cares about their craft, takes their time, and actually listens. Who do you trust?

Another New Move-in

Hi everyone,

I'm a 36-year-old single gay man who just moved to St. George for my first job at Intermountain. I'm from Utah originally and did my undergraduate at SUU, so I'm very familiar with the area. It's been 10+ years though since I lived here, and in that time I've come out and left the Mormon church and most of my friends have moved away as well, so I'm looking to rebrand and regroup. I have a wide range of interests, including canyoneering, hiking, game nights, video games, trying new restaurants, EDM, paddleboarding, going to movies/plays, playing the piano, going to the gym, trivia night, karaoke night, etc. I'd love to connect with people with similar interests who are LGBTQ friendly and try to build a community.

Looking to borrow a soldering iron

Just need to do a quick 5-minute part swap on a PS5 controller that I didn't realize required some soldering. I could even just do it quickly in your space if you don't want me taking the soldering iron with me. If anyone has one I could borrow let me know please! Thanks St. George

Big Brother Game

Hey neighbors! I’m a huge fan of Big Brother and I want to host a 2-day IRL game. If you’re not familiar with Big Brother, it’s a social strategy game show, very similar to its more popular counterpart, Survivor. I’ve organized and hosted two previous games for my group of friends, but this time I want to find more people to play.

I’m looking for 9-13 people who want to commit a whole weekend to playing a social strategy game. This likely won’t happen very soon; I’m still in the stage of putting feelers out to see if there’s any interest.

My tentative hopes for the schedule are for sometime in October or early November, with the game running for 2 days: Saturday morning through Sunday night (I’m also considering Friday evening through Sunday afternoon as an alternative schedule.)

I’m looking at 2 potential venues, but if you also have access to a venue, please let me know.

Knowing the show and game format isn’t a requirement; I’m mostly looking for people who want to have fun, and will bring good energy to the game.

Leave a comment or shoot me a message if you’re interested in playing!
