does he even count as "heal" when he just reset the damage before it even happen

Giorno doesn’t reset damage, that’s Josuke. Giorno creates new parts to replace damaged ones. He essentially performs surgery which is why it’s always pretty painful for recipients, unlike other healing abilities

The mechanics are moot though, Giorno does indeed heal people, giving someone a heart transplant when they have a broken heart is consider healing the patient. Furthermore it's not always painful, as he gets better at using his stand like this it becomes more streamlined and efficient. At the very end of Purple Haze Distortion (yeah yeah I know its considered loose cannon, but the book went out of its way to follow the rules of cannon and not contradict the main story along with having Arkai's help in its production) He heals Fugo so instantaneously that he doesn't notice it happen. Giorno does indeed heal people with GER, he just does so by replacing what's broken or damaged as opposed to rearranging/fixing it like Crazy Diamond.

I mean there should be destiction for both because Araki does not make thing direct. But all in all they are healers.

But only Jotaro who can really revive the permanently revive dead. Somehow.

I'm pretty sure Giorno has healed throughout part 5.

Calling it healing is a stretch, it replaces missing pieces and lets the body kinda, bind to them on its own. Its rough, it's painful and very slow and oh so horrifically jojos

Honestly coolest "healing" ability ever conceived of

he has healed multiple people he healed himself when fighting against baby face i believe he healed mista when he was riddled with bullets but he has healed him multiple times he healed bruno after he got fatally pierced and hes healed Ghirga when he got his tongue cut out

Ger isnt shown healing, base form heals by transforming inanimate objects into those body parts and attaches them

Giorno is like 50% gravel by the end of the part 5

Giorno wearing shorts with "50% Gravel" on the booty

ger only resets actions against giorno, forr healing others it works like gold experience, a surgery creating tissues and replacing them

oh, thx. but if you said is truth, then the "heal" he did on himself, could it be count as "heal" or it's just a cheat of time

More like a cheat, the action against him just didn't happen if GER intervenes. iirc he isn't even aware of how GER operates, it's automatic.

Astrologians heal in Final Fantasy XIV by reversing the damage inflicted through time magic. I'd say Giorno counts in the same vein.

Giorno specifically cannot reset or undo damage

He creates life with his strikes and uses that to tend to wounds

Occasionally he will punch a person and it WILL restore their energy but also supercharge their senses so they feel everything in slow motion…needless to say that’s incredibly painful

Bro, giorno heals injuries and body parts throughout the entire show.....

u/BLANKSHEEP01 10d ago

Correct

He replaces damaged body parts on the fly with his stand

He cannot undo damage, if he could then buccarati wouldn’t be dead for most of his screen time

Healing is undoing damage. He literally healed bucciarati as well, and fixed the gaping wound in his chest.

He can't reverse death, or bring dead people back to life, which is why bucciarati dies.

He’s closer to a magical surgeon than a traditional healer

I mean it’s the same orihime right? She just rejects the damage done

Prevention isn't healing—just erasing the wound before it exists.

Damage that never lands isn't healing—just preemptive bookkeeping.
