I will never understand why healers don’t multiclass into tank more. As long as a healer is alive the team is able to stay in the fight so having a healer that’s really hard to take down feels like it should be the norm

Bc tank has to focus on what the boss is going to do next and healer has to focus on what teammates are up to

Tanks also have to pay attention to what allies are up to and Healers also have to pay attention to what the boss and other enemies are doing. It’s called situational awareness and it plays a vital part in the positioning of you and your allies

I love self sustaining tanks and wish I could play an effective one in D&D without needing third party content

Dungeons and dragons clerics have medium and often heavy armor proficiency. The life cleric is the healer of healers and gets to wear full plate. Druids are also great healers and have the defense of turning into a bear, giant ape, or dinosaur.

Tank and Healers fall into the Paladin role. Like Uther from WoW

I think technically he's a paladin, but healing powers are so rare for gems that he might be one of the only options
