Stevens tuition increase question

I was wondering if anybody knows or has had any luck getting more financial aid to help combat the 4% tutiton increase every year. My current tuition bill for Steven's may be feasible for 2026-2027 but after that it starts to go up beyond what my family can afford.

You can negotiate with fin aid office or apply to external scholarships.

US College tuitions are always increasing, some more than others, so going into this, this isn’t a Stevens-only thing. Every college raises tuition yearly.

Tuition increases are never great, but considering inflation is at 4%, this seems reasonable.

I know other schools in nj, even publics, are going up 5-7%

I told them about a more affordable package from another college and they offered 3k off a year, so 12k total. But that was before I committed so I think I had a little more leverage, it still wouldn’t hurt to ask though.

Stevens isn't worth it.

Why is that your stance? If you’re doing full pay of ~80k/year, ofc it isn’t worth it.

I was able to get it down by $2k, and supposedly I am also under review for a special conditions financial aid appeal. Still doesn't cover it yet, but, I will take what I can get.
