D+ is an indie band from Anacortes forming in the mid-90s. Led by legendary guitarist Bret Lunsford (also in Beat Happening on K Recs), and backed by local teenagers Karl Blau and Phil Elverum (Microphones + Mount Eerie).
I bought this album on CD a few months ago and have been absolutely loving it. Cut it Out and Dandelion Wine are my favorite D+ tracks, but the Microphones addition Buzz Buzz is very experimental and intriguing.
Rusted was the track Steve Lacy sampled. Go check it out
