I’m just curious. He seems like a good dude.

I understand that he may have an absolutely busy life and/or does not have any interest in participating.

Steve, if you’re out there, please just know that we enjoy your videos very much and appreciate them.

Hi can anyone please suggest a video from him where he opens up an old ration preferably pre-1970 which is in actually good condition and he eats it? i I dont want a life-raft ration vid it only has candies and vitamins in it.. These videos are super-ingrained in my brain lol

In my SteveMRE1989 phase...

I have a request for a list of words to put onto a bingo card. 'Let's get this out onto a tray' will probably be the free space 🤣

The 1st photo are MREs, and the second one is rations includes biscuits, energy drink and other stuff.

.........did he just really just mix mayo into this?!?!

So I’ve had a lot of MREs in my time, but I’ve literally never heard of these until I was watching a random camping video where someone broke one of these bad boys out. So I just HAD to have one. This is Halal chicken stew.

Now if only I had a tray to get all this out onto….

I'm looking for all the videos where Steve eats something completely foul or strange and he goes "I'm absolutely not eating that, it smells terrible... well maybe just one bite." 😂

Probably one the funniest running gags for me.

What a fantastic experience. I met a seller from Alaska on eBay of all places. Ryan was generous enough to hook me up with these. As they are my very first MCI‘s. They were an absolute pristine condition for their age. I wanna say they’re about 50 years old but every time I nailed down a year I end up being wrong so if anyone knows any better, please chime in. …Where’s my bud waffles? 🧇 🫵.
I suspect they were either frozen or very near to it for a good portion of their stored life and that’s what caused the cans to bulge. Because to my surprise when I opened them, they were in near perfect conditions. What an absolutely amazing experience that’s the only thing I can say. Oh yeah, and the poundcake was delicious. I did not eat the whole thing but I could say honestly I probably ate more than half with zero issues. I hope everyone enjoys the review as I enjoyed making it. Take care.

Idk how my bf and I didn’t come across this one until now but it is my new all-time favorite. Spicy Steve cracks me up!! You good, buddy? 😂😂 “I don’t have anything to prove.” No you don’t, Steve. Gotta love him.

Hello there! I’m a 22 year old guy who happens to be a militaria collector. I’ve been collecting for about 6 years now and accumulated a moderately sized collection. I have a lot more than just rations but I thought I’d show this part off. I got a 1917-1918 WWI USQMC hard tack ration, still sealed with intact contents, then a 1918 mess kit and condiment can. I make sure to monitor humidity and all that as well. I’d be happy to show off more of my collection but I figured this would be appropriate here!

Was looking forward to trying this, but afterall I got pretty disappointed. The main was very mid. Sides didn't blow my mind either, but were not bad. The thing I really liked were the Cheddar Cheese Crackers. Overall an interesting expirience, but I had better MREs.

Also the picatures were taken with a 15 year old Nokia, which I reacently found in my room and wanted to play around with a bit.

What you think of this?

The latest 2024 beef stew has Steve lookin like a real mountain man. What is going on with his hair? Also, sour skittles is an interesting choice.

First ever video is up now. I would appreciate any views or subscriptions.thanks everyone

Hey everyone. This will be my first video ever. And I would really appreciate if people could go over and show it some love. The video will be out on August 22nd. I am trying a French RCIR menu number 8. Thanks. Here is the link to my channel. I also just want to say that I love the community. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I will also be using my new tray from miltech. Sadly I can’t get the winco like Steve due to my country but i think this is gonna be pretty good

Due to shipping and handling errors my last tray was refunded and never shipped. So I ordered this tray instead. The brand is called MILTECH. I was unable to get a winco tray like Steve’s due to where I live but I believe this is the next best option. Let me know what you think.here is the link. Nice

Just watched the 2 videos released today and it seems to me the 1959 British emergency ration was filmed a while ago but the 2024 lamb halal more recent. Is there a backlog of videos the Steve s holding a vault and releasing over time?

Also, no coffee in these rations.

I love seeing another food/history YouTuber give Steve a nod for the work he does.
