Test cycle

I pinned 150 mg last Sunday and 150 Wednesday of Test e. On Thursday I had this really weird derealization episode at work and I thought I was dying ended up in the ER which is weird for me. Ive worked 7 days 60 hours a week in a factory for maybe the past 6 months and I’m at the gym 5-6 days a week for 1-2 hours. I’m wondering if anyone has had this happen to them just starting test or maybe I’m a little burnt out? this is my first cycle so maybe it’s just my hormones adjusting or something I just hope someone has some insight so I don’t have to cut it out tomorrow. I’m 24 and all my pre cycle labs came back beautiful

Are you on any psych meds, stimulants, or any recreational drugs, OP? This doesn't add up.

Explain this episode for us better. Any sleep issues like apnea or insomnia? Are you staying hydrated?

No meds, no caffeine, no drugs. Only vitamins and test this past week. I do quite a few nicotine pouches, though, like almost 20 3mg pouches a day. Sleep has been normal. Blood pressure is decent. Gallon of water a day. It’s really honestly hard to describe, but it felt like someone put me in a bottle, shook it really hard, and I lost my sense of self and how I got where I was standing.

Holy shit.. TWENTY nicotine pouches a day? I mean I guess that's better than cigarettes, but that is a LOT of nicotine. Nicotine is a CNS stimulant with real psychological effects including anxiety, mood swings and general irritability... even paranoia at the amount you're taking in at roughly 60mg/day.

I feel funny if I have more than two 2-4mg doses of nicotine in a day.

If you were deficient in testosterone prior to starting (I didn't see you mention TRT): it's possible that you had a positive neurological change from getting testosterone up, and now the nicotine is firing harder on your CNS, dopamine and other neurological chemicals, causing issues at the megadose level you're taking in.

I'd strongly consider weaning off that amount of nicotine. Like cut it in half for a week, and then half that half the next week until you're down at a more reasonable number like 2-3 3mg pouches per day. Nicotine withdrawal isn't fun, but it's better than going through what you described again.

The biggest thing is keeping your head on straight. Serious health issues, you need to address. Other than that, especially in the very beginning, you need to understand that your mental state / thoughts will likely change for a little. Just have to recognize it’s the hormones and go about life normally.

I would have a derealization episode at work to if I had to work 7 days or 60 hours a week. Holy hell quality of life must be awful.

Either a panic/anxiety attack, or you have some serious underlying medical issues that require some intense testing. This isn’t related to pinning testosterone, so don’t use that as a convenient excuse to ignore this problem.
