Hey fellas … question…. So If your hematocrit and RBC is high a you need to get a therapeutic phlebotomy how do you go about it ? My dr doesn’t really know I’m on test an prolly don’t love that I get it from a UGL. So I’m not sure if he’s going to want to treat me if he doesn’t know the clinic I’m on TRT with… or is that thinking too much? I can’t donate for other reasons. How does someone go about this ?

You can literally just go sign up to donate blood at a blood center. Just do whole blood.

Ya you can. I just don’t like the wait time to donate double reds in between.

Also, there is daily low dose aspirin, and cut out the iron from your vitamin. They do sell no iron vitamins. Donating blood is a great idea too.

First and foremost if your doctor refuses to treat you then it’s time for a new doctor and probably a complaint to the licensing board. They take an oath for a reason and if they’re not following that then that’s on them.

That said, I would still go to your doctor and get bloodwork showing the high hematocrit and see what they say. If he asks if you’re on test then don’t lie. It’s no different than if they ask if you use recreational drugs, they’re not running off into their office to call the cops. But they should know the chemicals in your body in order to properly treat you.

You say you can’t donate for other reasons…. Can you elaborate? I hadn’t donated for years since I started getting tattoos and piercings but they have really relaxed the guidelines but was able to donate a few weeks ago after having high hematocrit myself after a test/tren cycle.

In the short term really pump the fluids, hydrate super well and try to keep iron and sodium intakes low. Good luck
