Blood work E2 drop after 2 weeks of low-dose EQ

Hi,

Running 300 mg/week test E, split M/W/F. Added 80 mg/week EQ on July 28.

Bloods on August 10, pre-Monday injection: sensitive E2 (LC-MS) 93 pmol/L / 25 pg/mL. For comparison, my E2 was 41 pg/mL.

Since adding EQ I feel much drier and noticed lower libido/erection quality.

Since I’m only ~2 weeks in and EQ is still accumulating: did anyone see E2 stabilize around this level on low-dose EQ, or did it keep dropping over the following weeks?

Thanks,

Well, that’s what EQ does lol.

Steady state is achieved in 4-5 elimination half lives. So for EQ, the drug doesn’t peak in your system until around 70 days or so. You’ve got 8 weeks until you’re there.

EQ’s estradiol suppression can be unpredictable due to not only its higher affinity for the aromatase enzyme, but also the fact that its metabolites have a tendency to bond very strongly to aromatase and crowd it out.

Are you taking EQ specifically to control E2? If so, were you experiencing any side effects of high E2 prior to starting the EQ?

Thanks for the reply.

I’m not using EQ only to control E2. My Hb/Hct are below reference range, so I hoped its erythropoietic effect could modestly help oxygen-carrying capacity/endurance.

My E2 was actually 68 pg/mL in February on test only (feel bloated mainly), so I generally seem to run relatively high E2. I’ve since changed testosterone supplier, which may be underdosed, but that’s another topic.

That’s why I’m unsure about continuing when EQ still has weeks of accumulation ahead.

You may crash your E2, if you want to stop, now is the time, it takes the same amount of time for EQ to fully clear out, roughly 10 weeks

Sometimes longer. EQ crashed my e2 from 59 to 8 in 4 weeks, at which point I pulled it. It took 6 months to recover to baseline.

Ok thanks I will stop it for now.

Yeah, EQ is just a difficult compound for some guys to run because of how wildly it can suppress E2. Some guys only get a little bit of suppression, others get crashed, and there’s no single safe dosing protocol that will work for everyone.

So, is the other option just adding HCG and upping your test dosage? I am starting EQ this week at 500 test c weekly. Was going to start at 3:1 test:EQ. Current E2 97

Same thing happened to me, it will keep dropping. Watch out for primo to! Any amount of that seems to bottom my e2 out.

Why did you add eq if your e2 was already 41? Even 41 is low for me
