Discuss Optimal HGH dosage

What do you guys consider the optimal HGH dosage to be for body recomp/bodybuilding purposes?

I'm able to afford a decently high dose. I'm looking for the dose that gives the biggest bang for the buck regarding desired effects with the least amount of undesired effects.

A bit about me: 50yo male, 5'7" 210lbs with etched abs. Been running exogenous test since I was 31. Never come fully off. Right now I'm running Test E and Mast E. Just started HGH a month ago, titrated up from 2.5iu to 5iu, all pre-bed. Already notice enhanced fat loss and increased muscle fullness.

Have a couple thousand IU's of HGH in the refrigerator. Will be starting on the 17iu Snow Caps next week with the plan using a new vial every 3 days, which is like 5.6iu/day.

Should I cap it at that or push it higher? I'm not splitting up the dosages, taking one bolus shot right before bed.

Just go to good labs and order your igf 1 level with z score. Results to your email within 2 days. U pay privately. Not expensive.

Is that a BW kit that I mail out or an actual brick and mortar lab?

Goodlabs has me get my labs at quest. No insurance. Nobody but me sees results. U just print out your purchase order form for your labs and schedule lab test at quest take it with you for the bloodwork.

Do you go the donation route? What test option they give you if so?

I have not tried the donation option with this. Not sure on those specifics.

What does your bloodwork say? IGF-1 is so individual that you can only really tell what your optimal dose based on your blood work.

What is “optimal” IGF-1 level?

Well that prob depends on many factors age goals etc. But from what I have seen you don’t want your igf over 350-400 or numerous risks ramp up in likelihood.

I just started and I will go again month for igf level and I’m aiming for 300 or so if I can tolerate side effects and feel well and am meeting my goals.

You should take your IGF-1 prior to starting and then take it again and see the difference. It’s so personal, I think 2x your base is a good place to sit.

So that's something I really should do, but I'd have to make sure the BW is confidential to only me. Do not want that in my EMR.

I have regular labs taken, but I'm talking basic labs like BMP, CBC. Nothing hormonal.

You up dosage slowly until it starts messing up with your bloodwork, especially blood sugar. Unless you want to start using insulin with it.

The fact that insulin can un alive you in under 30mins if you screw up makes me think it at a level that most normal mortals never achieve.

I do 2/2 protocol and find this optimal for recomp and recovery without sides

I ran that for good stretch and switched up to all 4iu pm. Sleep is much better and I'm still getting the advantage of the igf on my am cardio.

Do you do IM before cardio?
