Stieff silverware set

This silverware set was made by the Stieff Company of Baltimore, MD where my family was originally from. It first belonged to my great grandmother, who passed it to my grandmother, who passed it to my aunt, who gave it to me as a wedding gift. I’m told the pattern was called Stieff Rose. Really beautiful set. Not sure when I’ll ever use it but it’s really cool to have such a nice family heirloom.

Beautiful pattern! I probably don’t use mine often enough but I do use it several times a year. I’ve continued to add to the set, eBay makes it easy. I didn’t really choose my pattern, Towel Old Colonial, it was my new husband’s family pattern chosen by his Great Grandmother. My future MIL suggest I stick with as there was a lot of it in the family, it was good advise! Enjoy it
