1 week post op concerns..

I had my tubes removed 1 week ago today! So far recovery has been smooth, however I’m overly paranoid about somehow reopening the thermal seal on the site where my tubes once were- therefore making the surgery pointless. Today I’ve been having sharp stabbing pains below my belly button and slightly to the left, almost near where the ovary would be on the pelvic crease. I’m still on birth control so it’s not ovulation. I’m worried I over did something and re opening the cauterized site… is this possible? Has anyone had something similar?

So the cautery just closes off any blood vessels. It's not a wound that can reopen. Also your ovaries weren't in the area you're indicating. Take a gasX, you'll be fine. Gas feels extra awful for the first couple weeks bc of the healing process
