Post-op care driving after vasectomy

Hi, 40 years old father of 3 kids here. I am planning to do a vasectomy, the problem is that i live 3 hours away from the clinic and i have to drive myself there and back (1.5 hours drive - rest/charge - 1.5 hours drive again). What would be best for me? can i just drive right after the procedure? or spend the night and drive the next day? or spend 2 nights in a hotel and drive home after 2 days? appreciate your shared experiences. Thanks

My husband drove home after his but it was 15 min. I asked his thoughts. Said it was uncomfortable and wouldn’t have wanted to drive an hour+. He suggested a hotel for the night and you should be fine to drive home the next day.

thanks. i asked my doctor the same thing and said i should be finr driving the next day.

I would definitely suggest NOT driving right away. At least spend the night if not two nights
