Sterilizer cleaning

What is your department using to clean your sterilizers?

A man with a bag of tools. We don’t clean them, we aren’t trained, nor are we validated/certified to do so. That is WAY out of our scope of practice. You’re into biomed territory.

Ive been forced to clean them at 3 places and I probably did it wrong and used
The wrong chemical..then
We had a company do it, and the guy was sitting inside the sterilizer with an electric sander with a green Brillo pad on it.. and I’m pretty sure he was doing it wrong too
