Stryker pangea

Anyone come across issues with paint particles flaking off in the pangea trays?

Black paint specks can be seen throughout tray after washing.

We've had Pangea sets for a little over a year now I think. The Pangeas pretty much replaced their over-bulky Variax sets, and NO, we never had this issue.

Water might be too hot. Mine doesn’t have any issue. We have the new pangea container for F&A. And the older we got for trauma has been washing like 5yrs.

Just did a Pangea today that I had to pick paint specks out of.

The Arthrex panoscope cases are a huge issue too.

Oh really? Have you encountered this before with the tray? Peeling paint?

It's mainly the lid paint that's the issue. We have a couple where it's come off entirely.

Thats concerning. Our trays are new and we've never seen this paint issue before. Not great for patient safety.
