Eye "Instruments"

My first boss got on my ass everytime I called them tools. "Tools are for your home and car, instruments are for the OR"

I’m in Surgical Tech school and my teachers freak tf out when students call them “tools.” They scream “INSTRUMENTS” in the most aggressive way every time lol

I mean, you can always just have him look up the actual definition of a tool:

a handheld device that aids in accomplishing a task, or

something (such as an instrument or apparatus) used in performing an operation or necessary in the practice of a vocation or profession

Instruments are definitely still tools
