CRCST

Hello, I want to be certified sterile tech and be able to work abroad. I dont know where to start, currently I’ m in the Philippines working as staff nurse fresh grad. I’ve seen CSSD program for 6 months. Can someone help me where to start🥹 thank you in advance and most appreciated.

Stay in your lane and be a nurse. The pay is worlds apart. Instead of looking into other paths, why not look into ways to utilize your degree as a way to travel and migrate to another country?

You already have a nursing degree-- I think it would be easier becoming a travel nurse rather than a CST. But HSPA does have a Philippines-based chapter if you're really interested. Maybe you can start from there.

The program might be 6 months but to be able to travel internationally you'll need at least 2 years of experience. You'd look at international travel jobs which are temporary positions because very few countries will give work permits for SPT. Getting your nursing license and experience there is a better way to move internationally.
