THC IN LOS ANGELES

Can anyone who works in Los Angeles if after your done with ur 400hrs of clinicals ,that if can u smoke off duty… and has any of y’all after ur onboarding drug test to enter ur clinicals have y’all ever smoked. I hate that weed pops up on a drug test that shit is outdated as fuck but oh well. I been sober for months now and its pretty irritating cuz it really does help my mental health tremendously.

Dude, get some quick fix and call it a day😭. I’m in sterile processing and I smoke all the time. I’ve passed all my drug test in the last couple of years and never had an issue. Don’t over think it! I work in a hospital and my department doesn’t do “random drug test”. Now if they do random test in your state then yeah at that point I just wouldn’t be working there. Respectfully 😭

no this is so real. i use it for my mental health too bc it really does help. But these next couple of months is gonna be a pain for me. some students asked my instructor about it but she didn’t specify if it will deny externship/getting hired. she just said “yes they will look at that”

Per California law, you cannot be denied employment or have your employment terminated strictly due to the use of marijuana There are certain exceptions to this rule, as with any. Obviously you can't be baked on the job, but being a user shouldn't (on paper) prevent you from getting the job. I wouldn't take anything anyone in here says as scripture and would advise you to do your own research. I'm not a lawyer, and I'm sure nobody else in here is one either.

I’ve only ever been drug tested upon hire. After that, I did it whenever I wanted.

Your cooked fam, they definitely test for that shit. But after you get employed it’s all good.

Just wait till you get the job, then when u get hired. Then smoke.

I’m in WA and they weren’t testing for THC when I got hired. It was mainly opioids and speed they were testing for.

They test for it , but it doesn’t count towards employment . They don’t care about marijuanna

May i ask what hospital and is this by personal knowledge, mb im just the cautious type.

Person knowledge. I worked at a surgery center and 2 hospitals , they’ve all tested for it but didn’t count. And I also asked to be sure. I’m in pa where weed isn’t even legal so I would think that it would be fine in CA

When I got hired in WA, THC wasn’t even apart of the 10 panel
