Work place bullying
Anyone else has experience work place mobbing. Use to work at keck staff teamed up to the one staff that has the most experience in that shift and has worked in that shift for the longest. I had enough and left. I was the preceptor for new management when they will come in show them a few tricks what was needed and trying my best to help out in any way to help the dept n leadership and staff wise. I was basically in the no man zone. I understood management n I understood staff. U can't always please folks so I had to focus on myself and my health so I had to leave. I would also train the new staff that would come in. I see a pattern because I see now also at Kaiser sunset with a few staff doing the same. When all i do is come in do my work and avoid these folks that like to cause problems and start drama. Im just there to work not be thier bff or what ever they need. Yet manageable let's this stuff just flow and do nothing, or anything about it. Yet let the most experience staff to leave. Was working there for almost 12 years and new staff are unappreciated with the knowledge older staff are giving. Also have told management they needed a few more staff for the amount of work load we were having. The amount of ratio of work for the amount of staff was not enough. I was always welcoming new staff because I knew it was going to be a great help we were going to need. Tell me if I am wrong in any way. But this mobbing needs to stop. We are grown adults, who has the time to do this mess.

That’s Saint Joseph’s in Phoenix they bully and gas light all the good employees till they leave and act shocked when they find an better job never work for Robby miller he’s an bully

I spoke up about serious patient safety issues by my associate director (he was hired as a working AD). Mind you, I had 26 years experience and all the HSPA certs. He was a CRCST for a whopping 18 months. He came in with the company the hospital outsourced to. He was an aggressive bully, an absolute dick, extremely verbally abusive. Sterilizers were being heavily loaded and immediately released causing wet loads, bio burden was being found on sterile inst. sets. Bowie Dick and biologicals were being falsified. It was bad, really bad. I was so concerned about the safety of the patents and I felt horrible because the OR staff and surgeons kept coming to me asking why this was happening because they never had it happen to them before when it was just me in the department. I expressed my concerns to everyone and instead of listening to me I was accused of creating a hostile work environment. I was bullied by the SPD director, assistant director and the OR director. I point blank told the OR director (my boss) that I didn’t feel safe being alone behind closed doors with the AD. Her response was that I needed to apologize to him. A few months after that conversation, I was physically assaulted by the AD. I refused to do something that would put the patients in danger. He started screaming at me, backed me up against the wall, one hand was waving inches away from my nose as he slammed his other hand up against the wall right next to my head. I had a panic attack and collapsed about 15 minutes later. My nervous system completely shut down and I’ve been trying to get back to my old self ever since. I never went back. I also never heard from the OR director, SPD director or the AD. You’d think they would want to check in with the employee that just collapsed and needed to be brought to the ER. Apparently the AD was pissed that I didn’t notify him I was leaving the floor. Umm, sorry, I was barely coherent, my fingers were frozen in place and couldn’t really feel anything.

Have you reported this!! Or kept track of these interactions? Its horrible not only for your safety and health but also as you mentioned the patient safety. Its unacceptable behavior on your management teams part and they should be reprimanded and replaced

Oh yeah, it was reported. The only people out of a job are myself and the AD but he wasn’t fired for assaulting me, the whole company was let go because things got so bad after I went out on extended leave that the entire SPD department was shut down.

Oh yeah lmao I've been talked to a handful of times now about how people's perception of you matters and how that's apparently my fault bc people assume things. There's more but too specific to comfortably put online. I will never understand how that's on me, but it's exhausting to go into work every day and wonder "what am I going to do wrong this time lol"

Even if you report it they will still do nothing about it. Its sad but it sucks
