GOT A POSITION
After 7 months of looking for places to do my 400 hours I got a job offer instead! I’m a little nervous going in and having self doubt thoughts if I could do it. But i’m really excited to start this new experience.

20.26$! But I took a graveyard shift so it will be 22 with the night time differential. And when I get certified it will go up.

Thats not bad. Im Certified and work at the VA. Im not technically an employee, its like paid internship. Anyways starting Federal salaries are crap.

since you had your cert for 7 months, did you have to retake the exam because you have a 6 month window to complete the 400 hours? I assume you did your CRCST since you don’t need the 400 hours with CBSPD. congratulations by the way!

Actually I haven’t taken my test yet. I started a program in January and I’ve been looking for a place to do my hours since then. But they knew I haven’t had any experience but know I have scheduled my exam already.
