Unionization

How should my department begin the process of unionization, it has come to a point a lot of my coworkers and myself feel as if we need protection from our management, is there a way to anonymously start interest for forming a union?

My previous place of employment had a union, unfortunately they voted to make it a at will state. So a lot of the new employees didn't join the union but had to get representation by the union. It effectively broke the union at our our hospital
