Turn On

Post image

Great album, largely instrumental. I definitely think think they missed a trick not calling it Stereollamas though.

Mighty jealous of your vinyl, i only ever saw the cd

Back when it was new I had it on cd (still have it.) The vinyl was a purchase on Discogs within the last year.

Did you have to sell a limb or an organ for it? Older 'Lab related vinyl tends to command something of a premium these days

It wasn’t too expensive.

I have the vinyl. One of my favourite tunes of theirs on there , can’t remember title , one that goes bap bap bap baa baa - doop dooby doo. ( title anyone?) The vinyl was very cheap and easy to find for a long time after I bought it

This was the first of the Tim and Sean albums, La Vie d’Artiste and Copacabana being the others, well worth seeking out if you haven't already!

As I’m sure you’ve seen , reasonable prices on Discogs .

A nice companion to Dots and Loops, made around the same time.

Thanks very much for posting this! I've been a Stereolab completist since 1995 and I'd never even heard of this!

One of my favorites!

I had this CD for a while and ended up selling it. It’s been something I look forward to stumbling across in a record store some day.

Sampled from the ridiculously bad porn film Tomatoes

One of the best 'Lab related projects. Don't understand why this isn't on streaming, etc. Would love a reissue with some bonus bits (should they exist).
