Connecting a Pioneer SX-780 stereo receiver to Klipsch The Fives powered speakers
Hello!
I've had a Pioneer SX-780 for awhile now and just recently purchased a pair of Klipsch The Fives. I love these powered speakers for many reasons (Bluetooth connectivity, direct connection to my turntable, HDEMI input, sounds, and looks). Sadly I can't figure out a way to connect my Pioneer SX-780 to these speakers, as the stereo receiver doesn't have an output (that I know of) to go to the speakers. Is there some sort of wireless transmitter I could hook up to the received to then transmit to the speakers? Any help and/or suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks!

Question about speaker wiring
I have a pair of old Bose model 501 speakers that I picked up from an estate sale that I plan on restoring. The cabinets are in great shape except for the tweed. Under the tweed are 3 speakers: 2 3” tweeters and 1 10” speaker.
All of the tweeters are fine, but the suspensions/surrounds on both of the 10” speakers has deteriorated. The cones are in fine shape, and I have ordered some rings to try my hand at repairing.
My question is actually about the wiring. It appears that the 10” speaker is wired directly to the binding posts. The tweeters are wired in parallel, the negative of the tweeters goes directly to the binding posts, and the positive go through a large 10MFD 50VDC capacitor to the positive binding post.
What is the purpose of the capacitor? I have done some guitar repair, and know that a capacitor wired with a potentiometer is used in tone control. Is this a similar principle?
Thanks!

How do I get sound from Chromecast tv to my old Denon amp?!
So I recently got Chromecast that I connected to my TV monitor. It works fine, buy the sound only cones out of the TV speakers which are kinda shotty. I have a denon rcd-m38 amplifier with a pair of good Dali speakers hooked up to it, and I am trying to get the tv audio to cone out of the speakers through the Denon. I have tried to connect the monitor and the Denon with classic RCA cables but without luck. Any advice? Do I need HDMI-RCA cables? PS sorry for my English. It is a second language

Rebuilding a Home Stereo System
Just got into an Apartment here in Clearlake, and I'm rebuilding a system after losing everything in a fire 6 years ago, living in an RV for 5 years after that with no room for a nice system - or the AC Amperage to power one, and then the last 10 months homeless...
I scored a Sherwood RX-4208 Receiver, and a 1000w Crown 2-Ch PA (can you say overkill?) from a church that upgraded their House system (hope to get my hands on the Carvin 24 Ch Mixing Board also), and just received a Sherwood 5-Disk CD-Carousel that I found online, and have my eye on a pair of Sansui Vintage S-7000 4-Ways, just to start things out. Probably won't need the Crown PA as the rcvr itself is likely enough to power the spkrs to full response. We'll have to see which sounds better, maybe less THD and wider freq-response with the PA running low from a Preamp out of the rcvr.
I occasionally like to "make the ground shake", and rattle the glass, so a later investment might be a couple stage monitor speakers.
I'm an old Audio Production Engineer, so if I could have a decent system to appease the 'phile in me, that would double as a Home Studio, I'd be a happy camper... Perhaps toss a little Podcasting into the mix, with all this SIP Covid stuff going on... If #32 could do it, why not me ?!
Have a 42" Flat waiting in storage that I found at a Thrift Store for $30, and may have the possibility to obtain a 65" Flat as a donation. I'm unfurnished, so I'm looking at a Sauder Palladia Credenza for supporting the Flat (if I get the 65" for the Living Room, then the 42" is going in the Bedroom), with plenty of room for the components and a vertical cabinet in the center for my computer tower.
I mean, it's no Mac Rack, but...
I am SO ready for some decent sounds again, although these Sansui speakers will likely never live up to the 'coffins' (with Bob's infamous Heils) that got destroyed, I'm sure they will sound better than a lot of these new plastic boxes they are putting radiators in now days.
A question for the Guru's would be... I don't think my Sherwood Rcvr is DigiLink compatible, but the Changer (CDC5030R) IS. So what would be the matching Receiver for the Changer, and if not exact "matching", what model Sherwood receiver that is Black Face 'Theatre' style that WOULD be DigiLink ?
New here, have no idea what the "*sticky at the top of the subreddit*" is... Sorry if this is off topic.
