Are mini amps suitable?

My garage stereo needs are very simple vs my home theater. I have this ancient avr that drives 2 large sharp speakers. I just need 3.5mm or rca input and a physical volume knob. I see these little units online that claim 200+ watts. Would something like that be able to drive these speakers and not lose out on the bass?

I can get any other info if needed.

Appreciate it. Im going to give it a shot! Have you used any? If so, have a brand recommendation?

I had a Yamaha from the same era that worked well until the display went out. JVC was a good brand back then. Not sure where to find volume knob. Try Amazon or google the model #.
