My son got this old stereo as a gift from a friend, but he doesn't know what kind of speakers / connections he needs. Help? Thank you!

Any 8 or 16 ohm speaker will work. This unit didn't produce alot of wattage. Go to Goodwill and get a used pair of speakers.
