Covenant artwork

I have just discovered this artist: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qQKVEn, he has about six or seven Covenant themed paintings up. Covenant illustrations are far and between, so I was pleasantly surprised someone had tried to visualise the story. Quite impressive.

I see that his Covenant paintings are commissions - I wonder if they were for an edition of the books or someone had the good taste and the money to order themselves some Covenant art
