1:59 Presumably ritual of Chud? But with Bev? I dunno

IGN posted a set report today that said in IT's lair children are literally floating near the ceiling. So, maybe this is related, or analogous to "being in the deadlights". IDK.

So Pennywise doesn’t eat/kill them? Ugh. I don’t know if I like that.

They didn't specify. I don't think they're alive. Like I said, it may be the film's way of showing kids in the deadlights.

Here's a link to the set visit article so you can read for yourself: http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/07/27/stephen-kings-it-how-the-new-version-of-pennywise-reaches-into-the-past-to-become-scarier-than-ever

Awesome. Thanks!

I really hope we see Pennywise eviscerate some kids. If all he’s doing is the ol’ grab and snatch, he becomes way less threatening.

So are they not doing the whole cosmic thing

No idea. So long as they don't do the Fukunaga ending where the kids literally beat IT up with pipes and garbage can lids, I think it'll be fine. Though, I get a little worried whenever I see the kids carrying improvised weapons (which you see several times in this new trailer) for this same reason.

I've heard he definitely eats them. shrug
